We are offering 2 different rides on Saturday 18th July. As previously you MUST now book using Eventbrite. Both rides are included as a single event. Note that this means the summary information for venue and time here and on Eventbrite covers the longer event and is not correct for the Peckham ride. You should choose the ticket for the ride you want. You will find 6 places available for each ride.
Note because there are 2 rides with different end times and locations within this “Event” your ticket will give the overall timing and the SE16 post code for both rides. The correct timings and locations for each ride are given in the details below.

Important. If you are booked but find you cannot make the ride, CANCEL on Eventbrite. That way we do not wait around, and possibly may be able to let an extra person on the ride. Even at the very last minute it is worth cancelling as some riders keep a close eye on bookings right up to start time.
Ride 1. Canada Water to Battersea Park. 10am to 1.15pm. Philippa leading. Start/finish in Deal Porter Square, SE16 7AR. Outward leg on the Thames Path (National Route NR4) to Blackfriars, then across Blackfriars Bridge. Continue CW3 round the Embankment to Westminster Bridge and Millbank, then use NR4 through Pimlico to Chelsea Bridge. Re-cross river to Battersea Park and a well-earned coffee stop at the Pear Tree Café by the lake. Return starts by leaving Battersea Park under the bridge to the new development around the Power Station. Follow the route through this to Battersea Park Road, then via Vauxhall and an inland route south of the river back to Canada Water. Flat 15 mile ride passing lots of interesting stuff. Ride 2. Peckham to Brixton Mill. 10am to 12 noon. Bruce Leading. Start/finish in Peckham Square, next to Peckham Library and Peckham Pulse Leisure Centre, SE15 5RY. 10 mile circuit on mostly quiet streets. Start along Canal Path and across Burgess Park, then Wyndham Rd, Myatts Fields, Slade Gardens, Ferndale Road and eventually Brixton Windmill. Brief stop at the mill still surrounded by the new work for an education centre. Return route passes Brixton Prison then cut through to Brockwell Park, continues through the tunnel at Herne Hill Station and along to Ruskin Park, on past Denmark Hill station to Lyndhurst Way and back to Peckham Square via newly pedestrianised Rye Lane.
