Mary and Mike Leading. Start/finish next to the Greenwich foot tunnel alongside Cutty Sark, SE10 9HT. Flat ride (apart from the Tor – you can walk this in a few minutes), 8 miles each way, we are allowing 3 hours, so pretty modest pace and time for a short coffee break at Woolwich Arsenal. The Tor (or Gallions Hill) is a 20-metre-high landmark created from recycled excavated material when they built Thamesmead. A spiral wide surfaced path leads to the summit. Thames path there and back, including some miles on one of the best quality cycle paths in London.  Route map, including a quiet route from Canada Water to the start, is at https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1QeZCbIIk0WveaCd_Jx_GLc5iI9J7SK1m&usp=sharing
