September seems to be the time when cyclists thoughts turn to having their bikes serviced. Approach those mechanics with confidence. Let our guys give your bike the once over first. We will be under Peckham Arch tightening brakes, indexing gears and giving wise advice (“clean that chain” “those tyres need air”). I particularly recommend the advice. After listening to it for about five years I have started following it myself.
Everything we do is free and open to all. We are the Southwark branch of the London Cycling Campaign and most of us are members but you don’t have to be. Our mechanics like bike-related problems. Bring challenges and let them enjoy themselves
