DESCRIPTION:Run by Bruno (see pic) on behalf of Southwark Cyclists in Camberwell Leisure Centre which has south-east London’s most memorable address\, Artichoke Place SE5 8TS. The leisure centre is friendly\, cheerful\, accessible and welcoming. Bruno and the boys are the same. Everyone is welcome and no one pays. \nThis is a drop-in not a course. You turn up with a problem and the guys fix it while showing you carefully what to do and helping you do it. What gets taught depends on what problems turn up. \nSouthwark Cyclists are the borough branch of the London Cycling Campaign who campaign for safer cycling throughout London. SUMMARY:Dr Bike under Peckham Arch
DESCRIPTION:Free bike maintenance with added advice. Our mechanics will tighten your brakes\, check and inflate your tyres and index your gears (this means stop them making that clicking noise) They will also give chain advice (when it keeps falling off you need a new one\, clean it more often and it will last longer). \nThis wonderful service is free and open to all. The guys in the picture with the banner are: Charlie on the left (our top mechanic)\, and Andy (on the right\, who runs us all.) The picture was taken at the Cycleway 1 site so if it doesn’t look like your mental picture of the Arch\, you are right.  We pay for the Dr Bike (and the banner) ourselves (no council subsidy). \nYou don’t have to sign anything\, join anything or go anywhere.
