DESCRIPTION:A Southwark Cyclist will be manning the speedgun on Christmas Eve. It’s a good time to catch the tired and emotional feeling cross that they to go to work. They will be supported by PCSO Kevin Phillips who soothes those who come back to complain and has an ear open for bonkers excuses. “The wind was behind me” and “I was going down hill” \nYou can join in. DESCRIPTION:Southwark Cyclist Sally will be taking the fight against speeding to the motorway between Peckham and New Cross. Trafffic explodes out of the High Street jams (five sets of traffic lights) and sets off at speed to make up the “lost” time. \nPCSO Kevin Phillips and our volunteer will be there with our speedgun. Lots of support from pedestrians and passing cyclists\, possibly less enthusiasm from motorists. The speedwatch locations are suggested by the public and checked out by Kevin. \nThe top speed logged so far (in a 20mph zone) is 66.
