DESCRIPTION:A Southwark Cyclists’ volunteer will be helping police with their enquiries this morning with a particular emphasis on speed and other anti-social behaviours relating to motor cars. As far as War on the Motorist goes this is low level stuff but it’s a pretty complete answer to the idea that if speeding mattered the police would police it..  They are trying and you can help them. DESCRIPTION:Southwark Cyclist volunteer\, Werner\, will be wielding the speed gun this evening on Southwark Bridge Road. He’s a dedicated speeder-catcher and currently tops the board for numbers of taxis caught in one session. Admittedly he hangs out in SE1 (principally) where the black cabs hang out too so he has an advantage on the rest of us. Top speed caught on speedgun so far (any vehicle- type eligible) is 66 mph.
