DESCRIPTION:To celebrate London Car-Free Day the north end of Bermondsey Street from White’s Grounds to Saint Thomas St will be closed to traffic and opened up to the community. \nFrom 12 noon lots of bike related activities. Bikes that make smoothies\, cycling entertainers\, led bike rides\, cargo bikes to try out. Plus local history walks; air quality snakes and ladders (what’s this\, Ed) \nCar Free Day coincides with Open House weekend and the organisers are encouraging people to take a stroll\, have a look at the buildings and parks\, visit the cafes and restaurants on Bermondsey Street and enjoy the car-free clean air and safer walking. \nIf you have any questions about London Car Free Day\, please contact the local organiser\, Hamish at: hamish.m.stewart@gmail.com.
