SUMMARY:Bike Train to Blackfriars
DESCRIPTION:Bike Train to Blackfriars: experienced ride leaders will escort you from Nunhead and Peckham Rye stations to Blackfriars using two parks\, a traffic-calmed backstreet; the Elephant and Castle by-pass and the new segregated lanes up St George’s Way and Blackfriars Road. \nRiders will have a solid barrier between themselves and a bus or lorry at all times. The train will leave Nunhead Station at 8am\, pick up riders at Peckham Rye Station at 8.10am and arrive at Blackfriars Bridge at 8.45am. Pick up from Peckham Rye is from the bike stands behind McDonalds. \nReturn rides will be arranged on the day to suit all riders. SUMMARY:Bike Train to Blackfriars
DESCRIPTION:Experienced\, trained ride leaders escort the Bike Train to Blackfriars Bridge via two parks\, a traffic-calmed backstreet\, the Elephant and Castle Bypass and the new segregated cycle lanes. There is never less than 10 foot of pavement or 3 foot of raised concrete between you and the nearest bus or HGV. \nComments so far include: “a fabulous ride”  and “a revelation”. The Bike Train starts at Nunhead Station at 8am\, takes on more riders at Peckham Rye Station (from the bike stands behind McDonalds) and arrives at Blackfriars at 8.45am. A branch line from Denmark Hill is planned. \nWe also do Bike Taxis — personalised rides that take YOU to exactly where you want to go because very few people have Blackfriars Bridge as their end destination of choice. \nAnd we bring you back because most people want to come home at some point.
