Start 10am from Waterloo Station (Victory Arch). Jamie leading and aiming to be back at Waterloo at 4pm.  The boat race is of course on Sunday. The aim here is to ride the course and observe some of the preparations on the day before. This is a relaxed and social event that involves some enjoyable cycling in stages for about 25 miles in all. 80% of our route is on quieter roads and some unsurfaced river paths. This circular route is predominantly flat. Route outward Westminster Bridge, Millbank, Chelsea Bridge, Battersea Park, Putney Embankment, Mortlake, Barnes Bridge before crossing the river by the finish post at Chiswick Bridge. Return route starts on north bank to Fulham Palace, then Battersea Bridge and the Power Station and on to Waterloo Station.   Lunch will be around 12.30 at The Ship Inn at Chiswick Bridge overlooking the finish. Riders are also welcome to bring their own picnic lunch/snack should they so wish.
