The new swing bridge on Deptford Creek opened on Monday Jan 19th 2015. This takes the Thames path and National Cycle route 4 across between the Deptford side of the creek (by the Tsar statue) and the Greenwich side, now the Millenium Quay housing development. A direct cycle path, pretty much along the river, continues to the Cutty Sark. Means we no longer have to divert out on to Creek Rd (A200) to get across Deptford Creek. Hooray!!
