West Norwood Cemetery, Greek section
Werner led 18 riders from Dulwich Park Cafe up the long hill to Crystal Palace Park. Everyone made it, but for 4 riders we were a bit slow so they left the ride at this point. From Crystal Palace Park by a devious route to West Norwood Park where we admired to great view back to central London. Next a leisurely tour of West Norwood Cemetery, one of the 7 great Victorian cemeteries scattered around London. We stopped at the tomb of Mr Tate of Tate and Lyle sugar and admired the impressive Greek section. From West Norwood back to Dulwich Park in time for a circuit of the park before finishing where we had started, at the cafe.
