Bike Week Healthy Ride, 16 June 2012, Start/Finish Peckham Square
Every rider gets a free key fob!!
9am Bike checking and fixing (we hope); 10-12, ride. Weather forecast is good. Route is uncertain, but will be certain by 10 am Saturday. Hope to see you there.
PS Rotherhithe riders. I will be at Decathlon at approx 9.15 to ride with anyone who wishes to accompany me to Peckham Square. In case I am delayed, please wait, but not after 9.30.
2 hour easy ride finishing back at start in Peckham. This is one of 12 rides that will happen every week from May 5 to July 21. Rides will be led by a professional Cycle Instructor. But the character of the rides will not change. This arrangement takes the pressure off me and is made possible by the grant from the Community Cycling Fund for London. One new feature will be a Dr Bike repair session before each ride. The Instructor will be at the start point at 9am, so anyone wanting their bike looked at should turn up early.
Details of future rides are on a new web site (www.healthyrider.weebly.com)
There you will also find pdf files for a poster and flyer. If you know anyone who might be interested, then send them/give them a flyer. If you know a community notice board, then please ask them to put up a
poster.
